CrossFit Scioto is proud to offer over 4,200 sq ft of training space. Our facility is equipped with Rogue Fitness, Get Rx, and Muscle Driver products. We have thousands of pounds of bumper plates, kettlebells, medicine balls, and dumbbells. We have dedicated Olympic lifting platforms with Kilo plates. For our cardio based workouts, we have plyometric boxes, jump ropes, Concept2 Rowers, Airdyne Bikes and Ski-Ergs. For Strong Man style workouts, we have axel bars, farmers handle bars, yoke, atlas stones, and 100lb D-Balls. We feature a 50ft Rogue Monster Lite rig.

Meet Our Team
Matt is a soccer player turned CrossFit coach who loves working with new people. He currently specializes in our intro/On-Ramp program that lays the foundation for your fitness future. Matt began his journey in 2012, by applying CrossFit training principles to his workouts. "After a few years, I took a leap of faith and decided to get my Level 1."
Since then, Matt has become a vital part of the Buckeye Strength and Performance community. As a coach, he loves teaching efficiency and monitoring human movement patterns. It can be extremely useful in coaching athletes BEFORE and during a workout.
Sue is no stranger to athletic competition. Over the years, she’s participated in high school and college basketball, multiple marathons, and half marathons. She’s also an accomplished martial artist with a black belt in Krav Maga. The latter of which served as a gateway to CrossFit. When a local affiliate opened nearby, she decided to try it out. The first few WODs planted the seed of her becoming a coach and the rest is CrossFit history.
Aside from training, Sue is passionate about nutrition. She understands that exercise is only part of the fitness journey. If you want to see results, you have to be all in. No shortcuts.
James is the head coach at Buckeye Strength and Performance. He’s a former collegiate athlete (basketball and track) who found his calling as a fitness professional. He transitioned from personal trainer to sports and conditioning coach which eventually led to CrossFit. For over a decade, James has used his knowledge to guide athletes at every fitness level.
He’s known for making complex ideas understandable for a variety of clients. James is invested in your progress and determined to get you results. "My primary goal is to get an athlete from point A to point B as effectively and efficiently as possible."
Jason is the owner and director of details at Buckeye Strength and Performance. He has an impressive background that consists of military, firefighter, and paramedic training. He’s also a veteran educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. For Jason, CrossFit was a game-changer. It was a breath of fresh air that altered his life for the better. At Buckeye, Jason wants our members to transform both their bodies and lives. Don’t just meet your expectations, surpass them.
